Raccoon not finding Pokemon Go?

Since I just had a couple mails about this: Raccoon is able to download Pokemon Go, but Play allows developers to geo block their products (and Niantic uses geo blocking to stop their servers from getting overrun). If you are geoblocked, you either need to use a proxy or a VPN to get around that.

Another reason why you aren’t able to find Pokemon Go is that you have been using Raccoon v3.6 previously, which masqueraded as a Samsung Galaxy S3 (not supported by Pokemon Go). Raccoon v3.7 mimics a Galaxy Note instead, but it will not automatically upgrade your archives (that would be stupid, an archive is a device and an S3 does not magically turn into a Note). So if you have been using Raccoon v3.6 previously, you need to either reset your current archive (delete credentials.cfg) or create a fresh one.

That being said, I would advice against playing this game. It takes privacy invasion to a new level and will likely be dead soon.
